Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Nifedipine inhibits the influx of calcium entering through slow channels, producing vasodilation of the peripheral blood vessels and coronary arteries. However, the drug has a minimal effect on the sinoatrial and atrioventricular nodes. Therefore, it does not affect the heart rate.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
G-CSFs help to prevent infection by reducing the incidence, severity, and duration of neutropenia associated with several chemotherapy regimens. The administration of a G-CSF should not lower red blood cell count or raise white blood cell count. They assist in the prevention of infection but do not necessarily resolve fatigue.
