Remove gloves first, if worn. This prevents contamination of hair, neck, and facial area by contaminants on gloves. Untie the top strings of the mask after untying the bottom strings. This prevents the top part of the mask from falling down over the clothing. If the mask falls and touches the clothing, it will be contaminated.
