  The NP should prescribe: a. furosemide (Lasix).

  c. acetazolamide (Diamox).
  d. hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDIURIL).

If nausea occurs, patients should take the pill with food. Patients stop taking pills for 7 days at the end of each 21-day pack.
