This combination of medications would not cause deep sedation. Neuromuscular-blocking agents do not decrease the effectiveness of antibiotics or increase sensitivity to antibiotics.

Patients taking neuromuscular-blocking agents should be monitored closely for clinical signs of hypoxia and hypercapnia (tachycardia, hypotension, cyanosis).
