A claim was made that at a local college only 5 of the students that take the introductory statistics course will continue their education in statistics. The population is the larger group of units about which inferences are to be made, in this case, the population would be all students who attended the local college who completed the introductory statistics course. (A particular time frame may also be included in the definition of the population.)

Answer to Question 2

The margin of error is based on sample size (provided the population size is at least 10 times larger than the sample size). So the margin of error for Researcher B will be the smallest.
