We are able to add and subtract the areas under the curve of a continuous distribution because these areas represent probabilities of independent events.
  Indicate whether the statement is true or false

Question 2

Events A and B are defined on a sample space, with P(A) = 0.8 and P(A and B) = 0.4 . Find the probability that event B will occur given that event A has already occurred.
