Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Probability sampling consists of using a randomizing device such as tossing a coin or consulting a random number table to decide which members of the population will constitute the sample. Probability sampling eliminates unintentional selection bias, permits the researcher to control the chance of obtaining a non-representative sample, and guarantees that the techniques of inferential statistics can be applied.
