ANS: Hayashi is the small folk ensemble that accompanies Shinto dances. Takebue,
taiko, o-daiko, gongs and cymbals are linked with it.

ANS: Choshi are the Japanese modes. The modes that are used in court and
Buddhist music are ryu and ritsu.
