ANS: Sha'bi is a working class genre of music that is often socially conscious and
modeled on Western pop groups. It started in Egypt.

ANS: A takht is the typical ensemble found in traditional Arabic music, usually
consisting of about five musicians. Instruments in a takht might include qanun, nay, ud, riqq,
violin, solo singer, and maybe a chorus
