ANS: Overblowing is used by aerophone players to increase pressure on the air
column within the instrument, which causes different frequencies in the harmonic series to
emanate from the instrument.



Answer to Question 2

ANS: A zither is a chordophone whose strings run parallel to a resonator that
extends the entire length of the instrument.
