ANSWER: melody in each voice typically moves within a narrow range; harmony has dissonant phrases ending with
open, hollow-sounding chords; composed in triple meter and uses repeating rhythmic patterns; depending
upon the recording the choir may be a cappella or accompanied by instruments; four-part independent
contrapuntal lines (chant in the tenor)
