According to WOM, what is the basic difference between blues and jazz?

How is the melody treated in Rosie and what important style of group singing does the treatment illustrate? What is the opening call? What is its response.? How many different responses are there in this selection? What response do you hear in the recording but not see in the transcription.

 jazz is a technique, a way of forming (the music).

Answer to Question 2

 call-and-response
 the leader sings the call, Be my woman, gal,__ I'll . . .
 the male chorus answers with the response,be your man.
