In the dominating main melody, with reference to melismatic versus syllabic,
 
  A. CD 1:17 is more syllabic than CD 1:18.
  B. CD 1:18 is more melismatic than CD 1:17.
   C. CD 1:17 is more melismatic than CD 1:18.
  D. CD 1:18 is less syllabic than CD 1:17.

Question 2

With reference to meter,
 
  A. CD 1:17 is in a clearer meter than CD 1:18.
