Answer to Question 1

Don Csar's harp-playing in Toro barroso has a much more polished sound with carefully constructed melodies that repeat in sections rather than being made up of a single rhythmic motive and melodic phrase which repeat continuously. Perhaps the most cohesive force in Don Csar Muquinche's interpretation of Toro barroso is balance. (See further discussion of the music and performance in Worlds of Music.)
Don Csar has a more urbane and refined sound resulting from years of formal training and practice, and living in cities where he has been surrounded by many different kinds of professional music and music-making.

Answer to Question 2

Don Csar saw his father's harpist career and the physical suffering it entailed; thus, he initially became a successful hat maker in spite of his passionate love for playing the harp. He eventually turned his fulltime attention to the harp and music-making, becoming a very successful musician.
