 Lead singer begins first iterative phrases, focusing on a single low note (0:41)
 The leader begins to stomp in time to the regular pulse of the call-and-response pattern (1:06).

 They are a minority group within the larger Creek/Muskogee Nation.
 They speak their own language.
 They have a patrilineal kinship system.
 Yet they share cultural points with both the Creek and with other tribal groups from Eastern Oklahoma (Worlds of Music citing Moore 1996.), such as Stomp Dances. Stomp Dances are performed by these tribal groups. They are organized around ceremonial grounds and are performed at night.
