 The way people divide, arrange, or rank themselves in relation to music.

Answer to Question 2

 People from different sub-groups or classes within any society approach the musical ideas and practices of their society differently. Some people perform often, others hardly at all. Some make music for fun as a hobby, others as a full-time occupation.
