Answer to Question 1

It would float because its specific gravity is less than 1.

Answer to Question 2

Density = 90 pounds / 3 cubic feet = 30 lbs/ft3

Specific Volume = 3 cubic feet / 90 pounds = 0.033 ft3/lb Specific Gravity = 30 lbs/ft3/ 62.4 lbs/ft3 = 0.48
