Pneumatic controls operate on air pressure. The output of a pneumatic control is an air pressure that varies in proportion to the condition being sensed.

Answer to Question 2

Using water is the best method, but is not always practical since the water will need to be drained away. If water cannot be used easily, a heat gun usually works well.
