Some of the various ways to search for a refrigerant leak are performing a visual inspection, using soap bubbles, using an electronic leak detector, and using refrigerant dyes.

Class 0 has to flame spread or smoke developed, while class 1 flame spread is limited to a flame spread of 25 and smoke developed of 50.
