Copper pipe and fittings should be cleaned before assembly
Nitrogen should be trickled through system before, during, and after brazing Plastic and other parts that can be damaged by heat should be protected Joint should be heated evenly using an oxy-acetylene torch
Brazing rod should be applied to the joint away from the flame
