Use Figures 89-27 and Table 89-2 to determine the correct amount of additional charge for a new split system with a 40 foot line set and a 3/8 liquid line. The factory charge includes enough refrigerant for 15 feet of line.

40 feet - 15 feet = 25 feet additional line
25  0.6 ounces

Answer to Question 2

The circuit breaker should be no larger than the maximum size on the dataplate 50 amps.
