Answer to Question 1

Make sure you follow the manufacturer's procedures when replacing electronic sensors because some can be damaged by improper handling. Because they may be easily damaged, some supply houses will not allow electronic sensors to be returned once they are removed from their packaging. Make sure you are ready to use the sensor right away before you open the package.

Freeze up at the expansion valve or metering device.
Corrosion of metals
Valve failure.
Copper plating.
Chemical damage to motor insulation
