Answer to Question 1

One method is that for every 4 feet that the ladder is extended, it should be 1 foot out from the wall it is leaning against. The other method is to set up the ladder, place your feet against the feet of the ladder, and with arms extended shoulder length, your palms should touch the ladder rails, if not, adjust accordingly.

Answer to Question 2

These valves are used to hold the refrigerant charge in the outdoor unit while it is shipped. The systems are shipped with the valve run all the way down clockwise. After installation the system is evacuated through the service port. The valve is turned counterclockwise to open it and allow the trapped refrigerant to flow throughout the system.

People who have myopia, or nearsightedness, are not able to see objects at a distance but only up close. It occurs when the cornea is either curved too steeply, the eye is too long, or both. This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
