Answer to Question 1

Eventually the copper tubing becomes thinner and thinner and turns brittle resulting in tube failure.

Answer to Question 2

There are two general types of air handling units that are used for central plant systems: ones with remote air handling units, called fan coil units, and ones with central station air handling units.
