Answer to Question 1

The primary problem caused by an oversized suction line is that the refrigerant velocity in the suction line may slow to the point that oil drops out of the refrigerant and is not returned to the compressor.

Answer to Question 2

Compressor start & stop, liquid line solenoid valve, cylinder unloaders, hot gas bypass.
