What is the velocity of the air in a duct with a total pressure of 0.15 inches wc and a static pressure of 0.1 inches wc?

0.15  0.10 = 0.05 wc velocity pressure

Answer to Question 2

Drier sizing should take into account both the volume of refrigerant in the system and the pressure drop across the drier. In general, driers should be sized for a pressure drop of 1 psig or less.
