Variable refrigerant velocity systems have multiple indoor coils connected to a single outdoor condensing unit that has a variable speed compressor. The communicating control system allows the unit to match its capacity to the combined required capacity of the multiple indoor units

The side where air enters. Usually hidden in A coils.
