Answer to Question 1

Check all low voltage controls for shorts and grounds. After replacing the fuse, check the voltage output of the secondary side of the transformer. Then monitor that voltage while running the system through its different operating cycles.

Answer to Question 2

Check all major loads for shorts and grounds. After replacing the fuse, check the system amp draw and compare it to the data plate rating. Finally, check the amp draw of each major load individually.
