Answer to Question 1

A disadvantage to this location is the heat rejected from the reclaim coil needs to satisfy both the compressor head pressure requirements and the air handler demands. This requires properly designed coil sizing and is not easily controlled like a typical HVAC system. As an example, the reclaim coil could reject more heat than the HVAC system requires which would raise the building temperature to an undesirable level.
