What is the difference in operating characteristics between centrifugal fans with forward curved blades and centrifugal fans with backward curved blades?

Answer to Question 1

Air offers more resistance to the forward motion of forward curved blades. They turn slower and make less noise than backward curved blades. Backward curved blades are more efficient, but turn faster and make more noise.
