What is the difference between internally and externally equalized thermostatic expansion valves?

Answer to Question 1

Internally equalized valves obtain the evaporator pressure through a passageway inside the valve. Externally equalized valves obtain evaporator pressure through a separate line that runs from the valve to the suction line.

Answer to Question 2

50 amps x 1.15 = 57.5amps
