Answer to Question 1

They use an offset rolling piston, which seals against a blade that remains stationary and moves in and out of its slot to seal against the rolling piston.

Answer to Question 2

They are often used during building construction to supply temporary heat. They are limited in application to commercial projects where the area is relatively open. It is portable and can be located where needed.

Answer to Question 3

The only rotating part in a scroll compressor is the motor shaft.
