Answer to Question 1

Using walls, floor joists and ceiling joists for ductwork. Takeoffs on supply and return plenums.
Using non-UL approved duct tape and no mastic for sealing.

The staple turns as it shoots out so that it goes through both layers of insulation and turns back.
