Explain the difference between a digital and an analog type meter.

Answer to Question 1

An analog meter has a magnetic meter movement and a needle that moves across the face of the meter. A digital meter has an electronic circuit that senses voltage, current and resistance and sends the value to a digital display where the value is shown as a number.
