In the late 1920s, after studying the reports of 75,000 workplace accidents, Heinrich concluded that:
 88 percent of workplace accidents are caused by unsafe acts committed by fellow workers.
 10 percent of workplace accidents are caused by unsafe conditions.
 Two percent of workplace accidents are unavoidable.
