The Fair Labor Standards Act applies to all construction contracts since the minimum wage has to paid to all workers at construction job sites.

Answer to Question 2

The Kyoto Protocol affects the construction industry because it attempts to limit the emissions of each country that is a party to the agreement and heavy construction equipment emits high levels of pollutants and it could be affected by the requirements for reductions in emissions.
