Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

Fragnets are subnetworks used to break down one, or more, activities into additional levels of detail to develop the individual subactivities necessary for completion of the activity shown on the critical path (Wickwire, Hurlbut, and Lerman 1989). Fragnets also show additional (new) activities or logic revisions, due to delays. As such, fragnets are effective analytical tools for comparing portions of the as-planned CPM schedule with the actual events as impacted by changes. Fragnets are prepared for and used as part of a time impact analysis since they help visually display changes in critical portions of the sequence and duration of projects. Fragnets are then used to show the impact of changes on the overall project duration.
