There are five grounds for invalidating arbitration awards:

a) If awards are procured through fraud.
b) Misconduct on the behalf of the arbitrators.
c) The arbitrators make awards for disputes that were not part of the disputes
submitted to the arbitration panel.
d) An arbitrator was not listening to important evidence.
e) An arbitrator refused to postpone the arbitration proceedings to allow one party to
collect evidence needed for the proceedings.

Answer to Question 2

The aspects of Building Information Modeling software that are the most useful to contractors are the capability of creating four dimensional schedules that generate the three dimensional models in predefined scheduling sequences and Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) that could be automatically generated from three dimensional models. Another feature of BIM software that benefits contractors is clash detection or the highlighting of interferences between building elements and the generation of clash detection reports.
