If a contractor does not want to purchase bid documents copies of the documents are available for viewing at plan rooms such as the plan rooms of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) or the Associated Building Contractors (ABC).

The main components of construction contracts are the General Conditions, the Supplementary Conditions, the Specifications, and the Plans.
