Answer to Question 1

The only means for removing a United States Supreme Court justice is through impeachment proceedings that require a majority vote in the House of Representatives, a trial in the senate, and a two-thirds vote of the senate.

Answer to Question 2

The United States Supreme Court reviews lower court level cases that involve questions about the constitutionality of legislation and cases that involve violations of the United States constitution. In order for the United States Supreme Court to review a case from a state court system it has to involve a federal statute or include a legal issue where a state constitution or statute is in conflict with the United States constitution.
