Answer to Question 1

An annual operations budget is a financial plan for a given year based on forecast revenues and expenditures. It is used as a benchmark in evaluating the company's financial performance during the year.

Answer to Question 2

Working capital are the current assets less the current liabilities, and are the liquid assets that are available to finance future operations.
