Answer to Question 1

Psychosocial questionnaires evaluate workers' emotions about their jobs. Workers may be asked about job satisfaction, workload, pace, opportunities of advancement, management style, and organizational climate. Psychosocial questionnaires are another form of subjective ratings and are also subject to state-dependent bias in the data. Regardless of the measurement method, since workplace stress is dependent on personal awareness, no direct means of measuring workplace stress are now available.

Answer to Question 2

There are three stages of human stress response: 1) alarm, 2) resistance, and 3) exhaustion.
