Answer to Question 1

Power quality issues include anything that is not part of a pure sine wave on the grid. It includes harmonics, transient conditions such as lightning strikes, noise, and voltage issues.

Advanced batteries and storage technology can help level demand to allow more time for the most efficient sources to provide power
