Answer to Question 1

Number of cells in series to produce 18 V = 18 V / 0.5 V = 36 cells in series

Number of 36 series cell groups that are in parallel to produce 4A = 4 A / 2 A = 2 sets of 36 series cells in parallel

Total = 2(36) = 72 cells

Answer to Question 2

Triple the total number of modular by adding 14 more parallel modules for a total of 21 modules.
