Answer to Question 1

True

Answer to Question 2

The Ptolemaic model was geocentric, and used epicycles, deferents, and uniform circular motion. In the Tychonian model the Earth was stationary and the Sun and Moon revolved around it, but the other planets circled the Sun. The Copernican model was heliocentric, used uniform circular motion and small epicycles.
