The index of refraction for a certain material is 1.399 for red light and 1.432 for blue light. Find the angle separating the two refracted colors if the:
 
  (a) angle of incidence is 30.
  (b) angle of incidence is 60.

A nearsighted person has a near point of 12. cm and a far point of 17. cm. If the lens is 2.0 cm from the eye:
 
  (a) what lens power will enable this person to see distant objects clearly?
