Describe the separation of the superforce and the effect it had on the Universe.

The superforce separated into the electromagnetic, weak, and strong forces. At this time a tremendous pressure built up that caused the Universe to expand rapidly, causing parts of space that had been right next to each other to become widely separated. This is called the period of inflation.
