Which is more energetically favorable, biogas or ethanol? Does your answer differ at different places? Explain.

Answer to Question 1

Ethanol needs an infrastructure of fermenters and distillers and the application of
thermal energy. Biogas does need the fermenter, but works otherwise without application of
energy. Biogas is always energetically favorable.

This is correct. The number of births depends on the number of females, which in
turn is a proportion of the total population.
