Answer to Question 1

This is hardly true. Old computers are not worth much in the developed countries
and are usually shipped to less developed countries to be demolished and the metals
recovered. This causes substantial pollution in those countries.

Answer to Question 2

This is only true if a very short time frame is used. Otherwise, there is a great
difference in the two sorts of growth.
