Answer to Question 1

All the research has not sustained this allegation. In some cases, some studies
show correlations between exposure and effect, but different studies reporting an effect find
the effects to be different, not consistent from study to study.

Answer to Question 2

This is likely to occur. Globalization has been much in the news of late. Of
course, the hope is that increasing opportunity elsewhere will not impact the developed
countries adversely. It appears that the economic impetus to globalization is sufficiently
great and the loyalty of multinational corporations to their home countries sufficiently loose
that this won't occur as hoped.
